Typecast often as a dumb blond, Joan Vohs struggled her entire career to break out of that mold. She did manage partial success, but ultimately dropped out of acting altogether in order to become a full-time mom. She was born in Queens, New York, was a Rockette at age 16 and a Connover model before any acting for movies or television. Her first several roles were as models, usually of the "dumb blond" ilk. Occasionally, she landed a more substantive role, e.g. the role as suspected French spy "Fortune Mallory", played opposite George Montgomery in Fort Ti (1953). After a successful run of guest appearances on the T.V. sitcom, Family Affair (1966), Vohs retired from acting and devoted herself to raising her own family.- Nancy Valentine was born on 21 January 1928 in St. Albans, New York, USA. - Peggy Mannix was born in St. Albans, New York, November 26, 1949 and grew up in Sayville, New York. Her first acting jobs came to her via the well known Gateway Playhouse near her home. It was there she found her love and devotion to all things Musical Theatre and decided to jump on the train to the circus and has never looked back. With over 100 musicals and stage plays to her credit she married the love of her life John Slattery (not THAT John Slattery) in 1978. They packed up the 1964 Chevy Nova with one headlight and set out for the West Coast. They have made their home in Los Angeles for the past 40 years. In LA, Peggy was able to eek out a TV career with small roles in many popular sitcoms of the day.She has performed in regional theatres here in Los Angeles, San Francisco & Saramento. She continues to pursue her love of acting. In recent years, Peggy has enjoyed a successful side career working as a Public Speaker for FIDM for thirteen years and currently is a consultant for two Culinary Arts Non Profits teaching their students Interpersonal Skills. She has fallen in love with storytelling and has performed at popular venues in Los Angeles, Portland and New York telling her own personal stories. Peggy & John have two sons Sean and Liam Slattery and they are her favorite productions to date.

Nancy Gilliam's literary and media career spans over 40 years beginning with her first television appearance on "Wonderama", Metromedia Television's (now FOX TV) most successful children's television show hosted by Bob McAllister. She made her professional stage debut in Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival production of "The Wedding Band" with Ruby Dee, Robert Loggia & Polly Holliday. She appeared in the MGM motion picture "Fame" and sang on the motion picture soundtrack of "The Wiz". She co-authored the hit records "Take A Chance" and "Stop Playing on Me", which was picked up by NBC TV as the theme song for an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents entitled "The Gloating Place".
Her literary credits include contributions to three titles in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, "The Hustler's Ten Commandments" by Hotep, and "Blacks Behind the Scenes in Film and Television" by Dr. Eleanor Earl and veteran producer, Monty Ross.
She served as script consultant & production manager on "VI Degrees: The Movie", in which she also portrayed the role of Sharon. Other credits include Assistant Director for the television pilot, "Flagrant Fouls", script consultant on Unchained Entertainment's "The Plot" (in which she also played the role of Margie Palmer).
She is one of the producers on "King Dog" (2013),based on the true life story of Terrell Johnson,the former leader of the Gangster Disciples and first convicted felon in America to become a law enforcement officer.
She has shared her wealth of experience as both a speaker and a planner at conferences and festivals across the country including The African American Literary & Media Conference in Reno, Nevada, The Philadelphia Black Film & Media Conference, The SOL Film Festival in Norfolk, Virginia, The South Florida Youth in Film Festival, The Boynton Beach Arts Explosion, and the Brother 2 Brother Literary Symposium. She returned to her alma mater to conduct a writing workshop and as a guest speaker for the Drama Department's Senior Seminar in 2005 and 2006 at The Fiorello H. - Jean Hanna was born Jean Marr in St. James, New York in 1942 (some sources list 1943). She left home in her late teens to pursue a dream of acting and modeling. In 1961, she was named Playboy Magazine's Miss October. She moved from New York to Miami, Florida in the early 1960s where she appeared in a number of acting roles. Hanna is best known for some parts in the films Goldfinger and Shanty Tramp. After her stage and film career ended, Hanna became a market researcher. She married briefly and had a daughter, Kimberley. She died at age 64 following a four year battle with colon cancer. Besides her daughter, she was survived by her grandchildren Karina and Brianna, her son-in-law Ray LaFuci,her partner David Howell, and her brother Jim Marr.

Other appearances include Sir Politic in Volpone, the soothsayer in Julius Caesar, and a regular with Straightjacket Required. He appeared as the ever-clueless Master Slender in GRE's production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. Robert is a radio and television voice-over artist in New York City.
